Tattoo Inquiry Form
***If you're inquiring custom work, please be as descriptive as possible in what you're looking to create together. Also, please make sure to include the sizing and placement information.***
Things to Know
Deposit: I require a $100 deposit to book a appointment. This deposit is subtracted from the final cost of the tattoo. The deposit is nonrefundable.
Custom Drawing Fee: I require a $75 fee to create your custom design. If you cancel your appointment prior to art being created, your drawing fee will be refunded.
This fee includes an initial mock up and ONE additional revised draft. If additional drafts are requested, additional drawing fees will be required.
The mock up will be the line work representing the basic composition. Shading, detailing, and color work (if applicable) will be done at our appointment. Color choices will be made together, talking through the colored inks I have on hand in the studio (I have a lot!).
I will have the first draft 1-3 weeks prior to our scheduled appointment. When you receive a draft, try to respond with any and all updates you have in mind so that they can be incorporated into your one revised design. Final sizing and placement will be figured out at our appointment, as part of the stencil application process.
Priority will always be given to clients who want to collaborate on sleeves, half sleeves, thigh pieces and content that conforms thematically to my previous works.
I am not accepting lettering/script tattoos. There’s a lot of great lettering artists all around Portland, and I’m not one of them.
If for whatever reason you have to cancel our appointment, but I have a design drawn, your design fee will not be refunded and the design may be made available to other clients.
Tattooing
$180/hour (3 hour minimum)
$900/day (for up to 8 hours of tattoo work)
My rates are calculated per hour, unless we work through the fifth hour, at which time I consider the appointment a Day Rate booking and no longer charge for any remaining time. So if you can sit through hours 6, 7, and 8, it’s essentially already paid for. My intent here is to incentivize my clients to do larger or more detailed pieces and take advantage of doing longer sessions. So appointments will cost between $540 (3 hour minimum) - $900 (Day Rate) and your $100 deposit will then be subtracted from the final cost.
Payment Methods
Cash, Credit, & Debit are accepted.
I am exclusively using World Famous Tattoo Ink. It’s the best tattoo ink on the market, complies with all US and EU laws, and is 100% vegan.
Touch Ups:
One Touch up appointment is included per tattoo and is completely free! If after a month, you notice the tattoo didn’t heal to your liking, reach out and I’ll fix it in a jiffy.
Once you are past a year from the last appointment of the tattoo in question, any touch ups are no longer free and continued work will be completed at the hourly or day rates. Please note, if the pandemic caused you to miss this window, or if you’re unable to easily return to the studio (due to living far away) the free touch up will still be honored.
My touch up appointments are limited to Monday’s, unless we have an appointment for new work on a Tuesday, Friday, or Saturday, where I can touch it up as part of that appointment.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel/reschedule your tattoo up to 48 hours prior to your appointment. If you cancel/reschedule thereafter, or no-show the day of, your deposit and design are forfeited.
To reschedule, please see your original booking confirmation email, which will have a link to view and reschedule your appointment. There is a saved story on my Instagram Profile that will have step by step instructions.
You may not reschedule more than once. If you do so, the appointment will be cancelled and your deposit and design will be forfeited. Depending on the nature of the design, the tattoo may be made available to the public.

NUMBING PRODUCTS GUIDE
The Oregon Health Authority recently clarified that licensed tattooers are not allowed to provide or apply numbing products during tattoo sessions—but you (the client) are still able to bring and apply them yourself.
Throughout my tattooing career, I’ve used numbing products during my sessions. This has been predominantly for your comfort—but honestly for mine as well, since inflicting pain has always been the hardest part of tattooing for me.
If you’d like to continue using numbing products in our sessions, I fully support that—you’ll just need to bring and apply them yourself. Here are some helpful guidelines:
*Pre Numbing Cream (Before Your Appointment)*
These products are applied at home prior to your appointment and can provide numbing during the early stages of your tattoo.
If you choose to use one, follow the manufacturers application instructions to the letter. Typically the instructions are as follows:
Apply a thick, opaque layer over the entire tattoo area
Cover with plastic wrap
Leave on for no longer 60–90 minutes.
Look for lidocaine-based creams (commonly available in 4% concentrations) that are designed to be used under occlusion.
Some clients choose tattoo-specific numbing creams such as Tattoo Numbing Cream Co Signature Tattoo Numbing Cream, though many options are available and can vary significantly in strength and how they affect the skin. Tattoo-specific products tend to prioritize ingredients better suited to the tattoo process than those intended for burn or itch relief.
(For reference, you can view an example here: Pre Numbing Cream)
*Mid-Session Numbing Spray (During Your Tattoo)*
These products are used once the skin is already open and can help reduce discomfort as the session progresses.
If you choose to bring one:
It must be a spray (not a cream or ointment)
Do not touch or apply anything directly with your bare hand to the tattooed area
I’ll let you know when it makes sense within the tattoo process to use it
Some clients choose sprays such as Reform Numbing Spray or similar lidocaine-based sprays designed for use on open skin. Tattoo-specific products tend to prioritize ingredients that are better suited to the tattoo process, whereas antiseptic pain relief products (often alcohol-based) can sting, and sunburn relief products (often containing menthol) can also sting.
(For reference, you can view an example here: Numbing Spray)
When ordering your products, please do so far enough in advance to allow for fulfillment and shipping times. Depending on the manufacturer, some products may take up to four weeks to arrive at your door.
The Law
In a memo dated March 25th, 2026, the Oregon Health Authority’s Board of Electrologists and Body Art Practitioners clarified that the administration or application of topical anesthesia by a licensed tattoo artist is not within the scope of practice of a tattoo license.
If a licensee is found in violation, they may face sanctions including civil penalties, suspension or revocation of their license, and potential criminal charges.
However, the Board also clarified that the self-administration of over-the-counter topical anesthetics by a client is not regulated.
A Note on Safety
Topical anesthetics work by temporarily blocking nerve signals in the skin. When used in large amounts, over large areas, or under plastic wrap, more of the product can be absorbed into the bloodstream.
For this reason, it’s important to:
Follow product instructions carefully
Avoid excessive amounts
Avoid long durations of skin contact
Avoid applying over very large areas at once
Apply a small amount to see how your skin reacts far in advance of your appointment
If you have any concerns, sensitivities, or underlying health conditions, consider consulting a medical professional before use.
Important Safety & Responsibility Notice
All numbing products are optional and are not required for a successful tattoo.
If you choose to use them, you are solely responsible for selecting, purchasing, and applying these products.
I do not provide or apply any numbing products, and I cannot guarantee how your skin will react to them. Individual responses vary and may include reduced effectiveness, irritation, swelling, or other unexpected reactions that can affect the tattoo process or outcome.
By choosing to use a numbing product, you acknowledge that you are doing so at your own discretion and risk.
As always, I’m here to make your tattoo experience as smooth and comfortable as possible within the guidelines I’m required to follow. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Instructions for your appointment
Please note that as you approach my building, I'm the shimmering glass door on the right with "103," in black lettering, on the upper corner of the door.
Masks are required in the studio and must be worn during our session. I have KN95 masks available in the lobby for your convenience.
You may bring one guest with you to your appointment, who must also be masked.
Please arrive rested, clean, fed, and hydrated. Bringing snacks and a reusable water bottle is a good idea, especially if we’re doing a long session. There’s a Safeway a few blocks away, if you’d like to pick up necessities on your way to the studio.
There’s no need to arrive early. Though, if you are going to be more than 15 minutes late, please reach out and let me know. At 20 minutes past our appointment, the appointment is considered a no-show, your deposit is forfeited, and I will no longer be at the studio.
Please wear (or bring) clothes that allow unobstructed access to the tattoo area. For example, if you’re getting an upper arm tattoo, please don’t wear a garment with sleeves.
I have a television in my studio space and several streaming services. However, if you’d like to bring a book or earbuds to find your center inwards, please feel free to do so.
